FRIDAY, DECEMBER 17, 1965 THE RIDGERUNNER PAGE THREE eULClAJ By Elsie Kronenfeld Peggy Dodge said it — You can tell that a man painted the current show in Asheville Biltmore’s Li brary. It is virile and has a lot of swing to it. I like the use of ink with other mediulns. I think that Norman Sultan has what it takes. Mr. Bunker, of our Art Department, says to just wait until he — that’s Mr. Sulton — reaches his peak. Does sound as if this reviewer thinks the shows are getting better and better. You are right. The shows are beginning to do what a college gallery should do, ex pose new talent that is experiment ing in new forms. A college is where the forward movements should first show up. Traditional art has homes all over. Museums must perform this task of giving permanent homes to things that re flect schools and trends.
