CAGERS CLOSE WITH 15-8 RECORD
...Drop Last Game
Nationally ranked Oglethorpe
College defeated the A-B Bulldogs
by connecting on 32 of 64 shots
for 50% versus 21 of 69 for 30%
for the Bulldogs.
Oglethorpe got off to a fast start
by taking an 8-0 lead before the
’Dogs were able to score a point.
The A-B squad, possibly suffering
from the after-effects of the Home
coming Dance or the ride to At
lanta, were not able to find their
mark in the first half, being on the
short end of a 39-24 score at half-
time.
In the second half, A-B managed
to close the gap to ten points (52-
42) but could get no closer. Ogle
thorpe managed to keep the game
sewed up from this point and won
79-55. TTiis loss gives the Bulldogs
a 15-8 season. Rapidly improving
Tom Lindley was high scorer for
