This is a really great restaurant! No small portions. Large pieces
of pie, large stoneware coffee mugs, homemade rolls-delicious-Iotss of

Martin Grosswendt, Blues
singer and Guitarist, will be the fea
tured performer this weekend at
the Asheville Junction. Sunday,
the Junction will present Bucky
Hanks, a local musician.
Grosswendt is from the up
per New York area. He speci
alizes in Mississippi Delta Blues,
and in addition. Ragtime Guitar.
Grosswendt will soon have a new
record on the market produced
on the Philo label.

On Sunday, Bucky will enter
tain with fingerpicking styles on
both the guitar and the banjo.
Hanks is well known locally and
has played at the Junction before.
Asheville Junction is located
in the Stone Soup Restaurant in
the Allen Center, around the cor
ner from the Southern Bell Build
ing. Admission is $1.50 Friday and
Saturday and $1.00 on Sunday.
Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and shows
begin at 8:30 p.m.
