We will also make a study of attrition to discover what causes students to drop out or to remain. For instance, we could use Sociology students to analyze thi^ attrition... (Dorr) New and better housing is essential to the growth and develop ment of UNC-A. This has to come out particularly in the search for a new Dean of Students. We must, over the years, diversify without dimishing our emphasis on liberal arts...Liberal arts are the real heart of this college. VUDITIONS ANNOUNCED FOR THEATER UNC-A Theatre UNC-Asheville will hold auditions for Anton Chekhov’s drama “The Three Sisters” on Thursday, August 24 at 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. in the Carol Belk Theatre. Drama department chairman Arnold Wengrow announced that the pro duction, which will open Theatre UNC-Asheville’s ninth season, has roles for nme men and five women.
