All those inter ested should contact either Vemell Griffith or any other member of the staff -Editor The Black Student Association of the University of^North Carolina at Asheville is an organization which promotes the welfare of black stu dents. It serves as a forum for dis cussion or problems confront-, ing the black students of U.N.C.A., and as a relevant force in shaping community activities. The majority of black students attending U.N.C.A. are members of the B.S.A., and several of those have taken official responsibility. The Executive Council consists of Kasler Logan, Ogden Braxdon, and Dee Wilkes. They were Installed at the last meeting, which took place Monday, Sept. 17th. Scar lett Craig is advisor of the Black Student Association. The B.S.A. meetings will be held once a week with at least two days notice, unless otherwise des ignated by the Executive Council. Students enrolled in the University of North Carolina at Asheville who feel that they truly understand the "Black Experience," regardless of their racial or ethnic background, can be members of the B.S.A. The next B.S.A. meeting will be held Thursday, Sept. 20th at 7:00PM in the "coffee house." All members are urged to attend the meeting punctually.
