Spend your Fall Semester in Spain earning cred
its towards your UNCA degree!
During this fall semester program, undergrade
from 6 NC campuses including UNCA have the
opportunity to attend a semester in the coastal
city of Santander, taking classes from Spanish
professors in Spanish geography, literature, art,
and history.. &

Santander
This beautiful city of 200,000 people is set on a
sparkling bay on Spain’s northern coast, 300
miles from Madrid, 150 miles from the French
border and a one day ferry ride to England.
Housing
Participants are housed in carefully-selected
homestays located within easy access to the
Universidad, downtown and the beaches. 3 daily
meals and laundry are included in the price of the
program.
Eligibility
All UNCA students in good academic standing
(2.5+ GPA) and with at least a sophomore status
are eligible to participate. Grades in Spanish
language, references and a written statement are
also considered.
The program begins in mid-Sept. and includes a
two week language course.
