Call For
Submissions!
*irls-a journal about
women* is accepting
submissions from all women
for Issue No. 47, “The
Passion Issue.”
Sleazy romance novels are
all well and good, but we’re
talking real passion. Behind
every woman, there is a
driving force: an interest, a
cause, a belief, or an idea
waiting to become more.
What gets you up in the
morning? Is it community
activism, a love for cooking,
a career, your dog, a cup of
coffee? We want to hear
about all passions, large or
small, strange or mundane,
simple yet great. What kind
of love makes your world
go ‘round?
Put your passions into print
by sending iris your artwork,
articles, reviews, short
fiction, poetry, and personal
reflection.
Deadline: April 30, 2003
Send all submissions to:
