SCHOLARSHIPS PEO Educational Loan Fund, established in 1907, makes loans available to qualified women who desire higher education and are in need of financial assistance. Loans are made regardless of race, nationality or religious affiliation. A woman is eligible to . receive consideration for a loan if she is a high school graduate, a citizen of the United States or Canada, and is recommended by a local chapter of PEO. At the time the loan is drawn, she must be enrolled in an accredited school and within two years of completing her course of study. The maximum loan is $3500. An undergraduate may draw up to $1750 in an academic year. Two responsible adult co signers are required for each loan, interest rate is 4%, and is to be paid back in five years of graduation. William Tassc Alexander Scholarship Fund $1000 to $5000 merit scholarships to undergraduate students primarily in the field of education.
