Red Cross Hosts Open House March is Red Cross Month, and the Asheville-Mountain Area Chapter of the Annerican Red Cross will celebrate the month by sponsoring a health and wellness fair March 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The chapter offices are located at 100 Edgewood Road, off Merrimon Ave. Free blood pressure screenings, vision acuity testing, glaucoma testing, acupuncture demonstra tions, seated massage and car seat safety checks will be avail able. Tissue typing for the National Bone Marrow Registry will be of fered free of charge. Cholesterol testing costs $7.
