The Barker is your source for finding out what's going on at UNC Asheville! The Barker Is a publication of The Office of Student Life. The paper advertises campus-wide events for the UNC Asheville community. Any campus department or recognized organization is welcome to advertise. The Barker is published bi-monthly on Thursdays. It Is FREE and offers a calendar of events, background info on the latest campus activities, and fun contests. Check out our regular edition this fall! Using Campus Pipeline What is Campus Pipeline? CP is a personalized web interface that is integrated with web services and products available through LNCA's web pages. Using current portal technology CP will conveniently link students, faculty and administrative staff to one another and the information they need while simplifying the need to provide a username and password to every service being provided. It includes a web based email system, targeted messaging which can be used to communicate announcements to specific groups of students, event driven messaging, private chat sessions for UNCA courses and convenient links to student centric sites both on and off campus and more. Future plans include shared cal endaring and automatic interface with WcbCT for faculty.
