Underdog Productions will be starting a volunteer program this fall for those
who would like to be apart of UP but don’t have the time to be apart of it full
time. If you are interested in helping out contact the UP President, Chris
Summerville, or any UP Member by calling the office at 251-6244 or
emailing us at unca_underdog_productions@yahoo.com.
Before each event let someone in UP know you would like to volunteer. The
President will keep a card with your name on it and the event you worked and
how long you worked it. At the end of the Fall Semester the President will
add up all the hours you worked and whoever has the most hours will win a
$25 gift certificate to the UNCA Bookstore. But it doesn’t end in the Fall.
It will continue on into the Spring Semester where we will start fresh for the
semester but at the end of the year we will give out a $25 gift certificate to
the bookstore to the person with the most volunteer hours for the semester
AND a $50 gift certificate to the person with the most hours for the entire
year. We will also put everyone else’s card into a pot and draw one out for
a $25 gift certificate {if you win a gift certificate for either semester or
the year, you will not be eligible for the random drawing).
