UNCA men’s basketball team brings another win RACHEL BOYLE Sports Staff Writer rboylel ©unca.edu The UNC Asheville men’s bas ketball team played an intense game against Radford College. The season is coming to an end, this being the third-to-last game. The Bulldogs won the game 66-64. Katie Nissley, a senior health and wellness student, cheered in the stands with other UNCA fans as players used their skills to win. “I like how intense the basketball games can get. You never know who is going to win,” Nissley said. “The scoring can happen really fast and the team that is behind can catch up in a blink of an eye.” Other students in the stands not only enjoy the basketball games but also other sports UNCA has to offer. “I enjoy basketball so I do enjoy coming to the games here. I some times go to baseball games and volleyball games but basketball is probably my favorite because it is easy to follow,” said Meredith Mc Lain, a senior political science stu dent. For some of the players, this game was one of their last.
