4 EUTHERFORD RECORDER BELOVED WOMAN DIES DURING HOLIDAYS Mrs. Laura Wyatt Passes Away At Her Home Near College. Mrs. Laura Wyatt, a well-kno'wli citizen of the community and friend of the college, died at her- home on December 23. Her death came as the result of a long illness during which she went about her daily tasks with heroic fortitude. A few days previ ous to the holidays, Mrs. Wyatt was forced to take to her bed much against her wishes. Thus it was that her death was not unexpected by the host of friends in the college commu nity, though all mourned her loss. Usualy twelve boys were given their meals at her home, living in al most sumptuous style, but any mem ber of the student body as well as the faculty was at liberty always to step into her home and take a meal. Mrs. Wyatt is survived by her two daughters, Sadie and Dare, now ju niors at Flora McDonald College, and a son, who is conductor on a railroad in Wyoming.
