Tornado Quint Drops 2 Games The Brevard Tornadoes went down in defeat before the onslaught of the Ashe ville School Blues 62-40 Tuesday after noon and again that night 43-42 in a six period struggle with Biltmore Junior Col lege. The first quarter of the Asheville School game was uneventful for the Bre vard team and ended with the Blues lead ing 21-0. The Tornadoes scored IJl points in the second quartet' ^hile their opponents ,were flooring 12. Thiey came back again after the rest pieriod to score point for point with the Blues. The game ended with the Asheville team tead ing 62-40. Taylor of Asheville School'was/high scorer with a total of 24 points., Patton, Ardrey, and Wright were high sXMSrets and main stays for Brevard, The night game foUnd the tired and worn Tornadoes , leading at the end of the first half 26-16. At the end of the regular playing time the Biltoore College Bulldogs had overtaken their opponents and were tied 37-37. An extra period was played to untie the score. This peri od showed on the already tired Brevard team and again they were tiei M the en^ of the pieriod 40-40. The Brevard varsity started the game and piled up a 14-2 lead. The B team then went in and the half ended 15-5. In the second half each team played a quarter. Final score 23-18.
