Miss Frazier is also an almunae of Brevard college, class of 1940. Dean Of Women m MRS. LEE PYLANT, above, is dean of women and also a teacher of mathematics at Bre vard college. A graduate of Geor gia State College for Women, Mrs. Pylant studied further at the University of Georgia and is well qualified for her position as dean of women. Swink Extends (Continued From Page One) visitors will take an active part in all of the homecoming activities and that their interest in the school will be revived. “Brevard college is very dependent on its alumni jissociation, as it is a constant rep resentative of the institution and the best press agents the college could have,” Swink stated. To Have Picnic Sun. The Delphian and Mnemosynean Literary societies have a picnic planned for this Sunday after noon. The group will leave the campus about 1:30 and return around five in the afternoon. The outing will be at Glenn Cannon falls and the two societies plan to hike the route. The charge for members will be twenty-five cents and outsiders may be in vited by members but there will be an extra charge for them. College Nurse MISS VERA MAE AULT, above, is hygiene instructor and nurse at the new Mary Frances Stamey Memorial infirmary at the college. Mss Ault is a grad uate of Presbyterian hospital in Charlotte, and has done gradu ate work in education at George Peabody College for Teachers. She first came to Brevard last year. Home Ec. Head MISS KATHERINE STAMEY, above, heads the department of home economics at Brevard col lege and directs the practice house for home ec. majors. She is a graduate of the Women’s College of the Univirsity of^ North Carolina and has been at Brevard since last year.
