Junior College Diploma Recepients Announce Plans Martha Ann Adams, who is sec retarial science student, plans on a permanent job in Gastonia after graduation. Martha is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David S. Adanis of Gastonia. Joe Frederick Alexander, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie P. Alexander, of Salisbury, plans to go to VPI for the next two and a half years. His major field of interest is engi neering. Carolyn Sue Branton is going to work in Raleigh after graduation. A secretarial science student, she ii the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward E. Branton of Shelby. A day student from Brevard, Charles Wayne Byrd, plans to go to J'ui^man University, major in Busi ness Administration, then teach. Wayne is the son of Mr. and Mrs, 0. B. Byrd. Work and travel are future plans of Gloria Woodeane Byriun of Rock Hill, S. C. A secretarial science stu dent, Woodeane is he daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Byrum. Sankie Louise Caviness, a secre tarial science student, is going to attend East Carolina College. San kie is the daughter of Mr. Sam Caviness of Asheboro. Another secretarial science stu dent, Jeanette Chambers, plans to work at Champion Paper and Fibre Company. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis J. Chambers of Canton. Margaret Joy Cook lists “work and support Wally” for her futiire plans. A secretarial student from Asheville, Joy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Cook. From Murphy, Judy Charlene Davidson, daughter of Mrs. Gay Davidson, plan to be a legal secre tary. Secretarial practice is Char lene’s major field. Henry Carlton Davis, son of Mr, and Mrs. Henry Allen Davis of Lex ington, is going to attend High Point College and major in business ad ministration. John Henry Denson, Jr., of San ford, plans to work for himself. John’s major field of interest is music. Virginia DuRant Doscher is go ing to the University of South Caro lina where she will major in medi cal technology and then work as a technician. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Doscher of Charlesiton, South Carolina. Brenda Joyce Edison is going to work in Washington after gradu al ion. The daughter of Mr. aftd Mrs. B. J. Edison of Gastonia. Brenda is a secretarial science student. Carol P. Engleberth, of Stratford, New Jersey, lists as her plans for the future, “trip around the world on my yacht.” Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paris N. Engleberth, Carol’s major field of interest is art. Nancy June Feemster of Ashe ville is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Feemster. A secretarial science major, June has hopes for a secretarial position in Asheville. She is a member of Phi Mu So rority there. A native of Shelby, Wallace Lee Fortenbury is a business admini stration major. Wally is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin A. Fortenbury. After graduation, he plans to work. Wysong and Miles will employ Barbara Jean Harris following her graduation. A secretarial practice, Bobbie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. B.
