House Councils
Enjoy Outing
The Women’s and Men’s House
Councils enjoyed a cook-out in
Pisgah forest on Tuesday eve
ning, October 24. Both Councils
annually have a dinner of some
sort but this year they decided
to combine talents of cooking
and fire-building.
Not only the council members
benefited from the cook-out, but
students whose appearance b -
fore House Coucil was delayed
a week by the event seemed to
be enjoying it, too!
Included in the outing were
Mrs, Dellinger, Dean
and Mr.. Fisher, advisors of the
groups.
The two returning members of the
1P61-62 cheerleading squad, Shirley
Hammill and Kitty Whitworth, are
assembling and training prospective
members for cheerleading tryouts for
the election to be held early in No
