By MARK TODD 8 Records Set During Season The long 1969 - 70 Basketball Season is over for the Brevard College Tornadoes ^h® Tornadoes fe to a tough elub from Ferrum, Virginia, in the regwn al tournament, and just didn t have it that night But it has 'been a good season^ for , does, who have had to fight injury, ineligibi _y, illness, and straggle with the resulting inconsistency all these things help bring about. Truly the Tornadoes have_ had their_ ups and downs. However, coaches Martin and ^urch Sop - mores Greg Headen, Joe Kagel, and Charlie Hunt, along with Freshmen Bob Wolf, Roger Jamison, E Humphrey, and all the rest who meant so much waiting in the wings while adding their support, de serve a pat on the back for a job well done. The thing I will most remember about the Tor nadoes is their never say die attitude, and the loyal support of their fans. I would like to have seen more -people at the games, but the i^ajority of peo ple who did come were a real asset to the team. I can truly say I enjoyed th© season, would like to congratulate everyone involved with malting it so.
