Phi Theta Kappa taps top BC students

Phi Theta Kappa held its spring induc
tions Wednesday, Jan. 27, 8 p.m. Dr. Ray
Fisher, the guest speaker, said the PTK
members represent the best and the
brightest at Brevard College.
PTK is the national honorary society for
students in two-year colleges. In order to
qualify for membership, a freshman must
maintain at least a 3.5 grade point
average.
The following people have been invited

So you want to be on TV?
Here’s your chance: Channel 4 of Green
ville will be filming a segment of “PM
Magazine” on the Brevard College cam
pus this week for a feature on the town of
Brevard.
Field Producer Kate Buford says she
wants as many students as possible to be in
the show. The filming will take place bet
ween 2-4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at the
fountains between McLarty-Goodson and
Moore classroom buildings.
The show will air at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday,
Feb. 23.
