SERVING THE BREVARD COLLEGE Volume 73, Issue 28 COMMUNITY SINCE 1935 March 28, 2008 Students perform internships on Capitol Hill by Joseph Chilton Editor in Chief While most students headed south for Spring Break on the beach, five students from Dr Lisa Jordan’s Economics 301 class headed north to perform one-week internships in Washington D.C. The trip, which was coordinated by Jordan and the AFL-CIO, placed each of the students in different internship settings, with students earning one hour of internship credit for their week’s work.
