The other day I put on shorts, I walked outside, and it was snowing. What happened to global warming? WTF? I went to the cafeteria and scanned my card. I had to scan it again and it worked. WTF? Today, I was walking, and I saw a white squirrel chasing a brown squirrel WTF? photos by S. James The Art Department's juried student art exhibition opened last Friday at the Spiers Gallery, with the awards ceremony taking place at 6 p.m. Amelia Norris' "Turbulence" (top right) took home Best of Show, Laura Barr's "Opening" (top left) took first place, and Josh Carter's "Man of Fire" (bottom left) was awarded Students' Choice. Other winners not pictured include Dean A. Mobley's "Swivel Sticks 11" (secondplace), Jocely Ashworth's "Ascending II" (third place) and Zach Porch's "The Gift" (President's Choice). The Spiers Gallery is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the art will be on exhibit until April 17.
