On Saturday, Dec. 1 community members gathered along N. Broad St. to watch the annual
Christmas Parade. Despite rainy weather, many lined the street with umbrellas in tow. Following
the parade was the Twilight Tour, which serves as an open house for the shops downtown.
During the parade, BC’s Beth Abrams, Chris Center, Deb D’Anna and Dee Dasburg rang a
Salvation Army bell and collected donations as people shopped along E. Main St.
Brevard College sophomore Hannah Spear organized caroling by BC students during the Twilight
Tour. Students gathered downtown, then went from shop to shop singing Christmas classics.
