Graduates (and one faculty member who is leaving after this semester) were asked what advice would they give to other Brevard College students? Here is what they had to say.... “Never give up on a dream just because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway.” -Earl Nightingale Ashley Hughes Always keep the main thing, the main thing. By that I mean you can go out and have fun but make sure you wake up for your 8 a.m. the next day and get your work done. Brandon “Puffy” Loran Be patient with the process and strive to be the best version of yourself, enjoy life and live with no worries. God has a plan for your life. Marias Watson Be smart. Mathew Parrish DO NOT wait around and expect things to happen. Brevard can be a special place if you put yourself out there and make it what you want it to be. Seek opportunities, join clubs, participate on campus!! Never stop trying to enhance your experience. Caroline David Do the extra work and be involved in something other than classes. Jeni Welch Don’t be afraid to take risks and get out of your comfort zone. Remember to read your textbooks, and don’t ever procrastinate! And don’t be afraid to ask for help. Haley Putnam Don’t let school get in the way of your education. Liz Hill Don’t wish away your days in Brevard. Grayson Lowe Enjoy the Llamas. Thibault Andre Tranchant Enjoy your time here. It will fly by. Daniel Trey Brown Four years may seem like a long time, but it goes by so fast. Embrace every moment, even the bad ones. Olivia Brock Know what you want to do and do it; don’t fall into the groups that don’t have good intentions. Stephen Healy Find purpose in what you do. Thomas Mittring Go to Dolly’s. Go onto the Parkway. Go swimming on warm days. You live in such a beautiful place. Soak it up while you’re there. Emma Moore This journey will be over before you know it. Make sure to cherish every moment, and go out of your way to try new things! Corey Diehl I graduated from college!
