Page 4 Arts & Life The Clarion \ November 6, 2019 Halloween Treats! By Carmen Boone Copy Editor Thursday, Oct. 31, also known as Halloween, was a big deal on the Brevard College campus. Decorations, costumes, spooky stories and trick or treating were all part of the festivities. Whether your spooky story was studying or watching a movie, Halloween spirit was certainly all over the place to add a little excitement to the mix. The residence halls, the library, the cafeteria, students, faculty and staff all participated in celebrating Halloween. Bats were spotted, pumpkins were carved up and suspicious food was served for lunch while costumes served up some looks, to say the least. Halloween was a huge hit this year. Photo by Carmen Boone Pumpkins are carved up and left outside to make someone jump in the dark. Jessica Tucker wears a Halloween themed costume. The registrar’s office dresses up as ‘Alice in Wonderland’ characters. Nancy Willard dresses up as half dead on Halloween.
