May 21, 2020 | The Clarion Class of 2020 Page 17 What advice would you give to other Brevard College students (and future graduates)? Don’t be afraid to do new things and find out what truly makes you happy. Bryce Kinsey Work hard and never give up. Have fun because these 4 years will fly by before you know it Matt Lynch Be sure to stay on top of your work, if you don’t you’ll fall behind! Heaven McCormick Try not to take the campus and the community for granted. McKayla Robinette To get out and do stuff, whether it’s on campus or off, just get out of your room. I had the best times out with my friends exploring pisgah or going through downtown, just being out and around Brevard makes you feel a little less homesick. Tabor Ryan Take charge of your education. Take it seriously, since you are paying for it. Don’t be afraid to stand up and speak out. Make yourself heard, and do not care what others think. It’s your college experience, make the most of it. Courtney Sharp Do something new. Brevard is a great place to learn new things, don’t be sacred to leave your comfort zone. Brad Stewart Take classes that interest, outside of your major or minor requirements. Alex Tyler Tenjhay Don’t get stuck on “oh I need to make sure I do this this and this for my major” You’ll have plenty of time for that. Make sure you leave room to explore, do new things, make friends, and have fun. Mlcaiah Vacchiano Take at least one “wild card” class, something outside of your intended major. You’ll never know what you might enjoy. Caroline Vargas (Courtesy of Brittany Ward) Enjoy the little things & don’t be afraid to try something new! I’ve done a lot of things at Brevard College that I never thought I would do and I have no regrets! College is the time of your life so enjoy every minute of it!
