On Jan. 15, there was a listening party of women's music at the Women's Resource Center in Wilmington. The pro gram provided the opportunity for the lesbian community to listen to good music, learn about the women's music industry, and meet each other. In addition to a wide variety of albums and tapes, a number of catalogs from women's bookstores and craftswomen were available. This program and the one held on Feb. 19, a discussion of women's workout, was the kick-off to a 3-month series of programs sponsored by GROW, a community service corporation in Wilmington, as an outreach to the women's community. On Tuesday, March 19, the third program will be a discussion of jobs and work, from traditional to alternative and separatist. This program is open to women only and will be held at 7:30 pm in the Women's Resource Center, 20 North 16th Street, Wilmington. For more information or to volunteer, call GROW at 919-675-9222.
