They are Mary Arnold, female vocalist from Audubon, Iowa; Kin Vassey, lead guitarist from Carrollton, Georgia; Terry Williams, rhythm guitarist from Hollywood, Califor.iia; Mickey Jones, drummer, from New York City; a newly acquired organist; and Kenny Rogers on the bass guitar. The induction of ,new members was discussed. Plans to attend a state convention for the purpose of organizing Phi Theta Kappa on the state level were also discussed. The convention is to be held November 20 to 21 in Banner Elk, North Carolina. The Louisburg chapter expects to send two members to this con- ve.ition. The main order of business was the election of PTK officers for the 1970-71 school year. Newly elected officers are as follows: Yvonne Hunter, president; Jeanae Whitney, vice-president; Hope Medlin, secretary; and Betsy May, re porter.
