Students hold slide

Weather has a strange ef
fect on people especially
those from Merritt Dorm. It
had been raining all day and
the girls just couldn’t stay
away any more. They had to
explore that .mud puddle. So,
one afternoon a group of girls
got together and went mud
slaying in front of the dorm.
How does one mud slay?
Everyone jumps in at the
same time and just plays in
the mud.

Herpes Seminar Scheduled
Herpes Simplex Virus — the sexually transmitted disease
generating much interest in the press and public — will be ex
plored on Thursday, April 21, 1983 in conjunction with North
Carolina Public Health Week. The seminar, “Focus on
Herpes”, is being sponsored by Burroughs Wellcome Com
pany, Raleigh Women’s Health Organization, Inc., and the
Triangle HELP Group. It will be held at Burroughs Wellcome
Co. Auditorium.
The seminar will be in 2 parts, a day session from 9:00-5:00
essentially for professionals, and an evening session from
7:00-9:30 open to the public at no charge. For further informa
tion, please contact Raleigh Women’s Health Organization, Inc.
