this weekend.
It's the 22nd annual gathering of The National Whistlers Con

clear, shrill sound. There are events planned all day Saturday,
April 22, including a competition for amateurs and children,
with the National Championships being held in the afternoon.
Anyone wishing for more information should contact Allen
DeHart.
Come on across the street on Saturday and get a good seat for

lately? Maybe it is because we
haven't had anyone to schedule

when passing through the Stu

one Dean. This could be good
for some of Louisburg College's
students if it was the Dean of
Students, but it is not.
Assistant Dean for Student

three years experience are required
of anyone who will be hired. Re
cently, the committee sifted
through 32 applicants, but only
four have been chosen for further
consideration. The committee has
reopened the search.
The job is very important for
our student body. The Assistant
Dean for Student Life is in charge
of the Student Government Asso
ciation, entertainment for the cof
fee houses and other student life
concerns. Currently Dean of Stu
dents Michael Krause is serving the
function of the Assistant Dean
while also maintaining his duties
as Dean.
The search committee hopes
to have the Assistant Dean posi
tion filled by the beginning of the
summer school in late June.
