A HEART WARMING CHRISTMAS CAROL
by Wendy E. Michel
Staff Writer
A Christmas Carol is one of the few popular
Christinas plays with a message of morality
throughout the story. Love, joy, sharing, and giv
ing are among the many warm feelings the Qirist-

year can be the most inspirational and Lxjuisburg
College is presenting the moving storyA Christ
mas Carol to touch the hearts of the students, fac

There are three performances this year: Friday,
December 1st and Saturday, December 2nd at 8

"There are spooky effects that are entertaining for
both children and adults to enjoy," Smith said. A
warm twist was added to the story along with new
characters to move the hearts of the audience. " A
Christmas Carol is by far my favorite play to direct
and the most impressive to watch," S mith said.

worked and been friends with John Lawson for a

were amputated after an electrical accident Still
wanting to work with Lawson, Smith wrote ascript
paralleling a character with no arms. Every time
A Christmas Carol is shown, David Lawson
comes back to f^ll the character's part which
Smith wrote for him. Smith said, "I cant imagine
