muium JMVAur 2S, me Pi^e 4 A FANTASTIC VOYAGE, A FANTASTIC GAME! by Brian Dorsey A fantastic start, 13-1 for the Lady Hurricane's basketball team. Should Coach Holloman be surprised? Nah, he knew what he was doing before they even started. Anybody who has played him can tell you. But, they can't explain what went wrong; except that they got beat. Especially Fort Lee. Fort Lee came out with a positive attitude, but it didn't last long; as the Lady Hurricane bas ketball team simply rubbed them out. The final score was 76 to 49. At the beginning it looked like a bunch of COLUMNS presents cats fighting. But that only lasted a few minutes. The Lady Hurricanes quickly ran away with the rock, the rebounds, the steals, and the game. And the frustration mounted on Fort Lee's face. Brigette Howard put in 32 minutes, dished out six assists, and six points. Behind Brigette was Adrian Ford with 29 minutes, nine rebounds, and 12 points. Keita Davis lead in scoring with 19 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Maranda Ward gave 26 minutes of hard work and got a double-double with 12 points and lead in rebounds with 16. Scotty Hall defends against the pass during a tournament last semester. The Hurricanes next home game is February 7. THE PACESETTER News and Information From Erv's Desk to yours Welcome Back!
