SGA on Profile by
New Student Government Association offic
ers want to give their all to Louisburg. When re
cently interviewed, the freshmen, sophomore, and
executive class presidents discussed their ideas for
making this year better.
Elizabeth Lohr, freshmen class president
stated, "I want to work on a variety of things that
will build up the team spirit and get the student
body together as one. One thing I really want to
do is a ‘Garbage Pick-Up Day’ where there are
games involved. It will help the environment and
bring students together for a good cause."
Tina Outlaw, sophomore class president,
stated, "I want the SGA to give students the op
portunity to assist in making decisions about stu
dent, academics and student life." Outlaw
Kiejah Dionne
considers herself a good role-model because she is
hard-working, responsible, and very dedicated to
making Lou-U better.
Jamie Dew, the president of the executive class,
said that one of the biggest things that he plans to
fix is the maintenance service for the residence halls.
"There are some students, including myself, that will
turn in a request for repairs and not get a response
for one to two weeks," remarked Jaime Dew.
Dew said in general, "I wouldn't ask any stu
dent here to do anything that I wouldn’t do." When
asked if he considered himself to be a good role-
model, he said, “I admit making my own mistakes,
but for the most part. I've tried to stay true to my
word. I just want people to know that it is okay to
be yourself, be comfortable with who you are, and
still have a good time.”
