ACC player of the Year, Albert King, highlights this unit. King is a clutch performer because of his outstanding shooting ability while averag ing 22 points a game Swing forward trnest Graham also adds to offensive firepower of Maryland Graham is at his best when his defensive game is working Senior middle man, 6-8 Buck Williams can intimidate many A(X' centers. The Rocky Mount native has outscored all his opponents he has played against and is deemed an all-around player. In the backcourt for the Terrapins is the elusive Greg Manning He is regarded as a pure shooter by many. The Maryland team has a good bench and coach Lefty Drissell will not hesitate to employ it. The Terrapins received a number ranking by Sports Illustrated in their preseason Col lege poll. However has lived up to this recognition by losing two ACC contests; their record is 13-2. In a past Associated Press poll, Carolina was twelfth while Maryland placed in as fourteenth. The Heels, February 15 will have a tough road assignment in College Park, Maryland. Bonney said that the rumor about the rift between they two peoples may be true Richards doesn t think that all Africans believe in the rumor. "Gambians are really glad to see Black Americans," he said Richards and Bonney may have different views on various subjects, but they do agree on one thing. Both men said they did not see people by their colors, but Americans did. '1 haven't seen myself as belonging to Black or white," Bonney said.
