This year it is a special issue of the Pilot, the college newspaper: We hope, with another year, it may be an independent publication for The Old Salts who were once Anchored at Gardner- Webb, whom former teachers Piloted through years of learning, and whose journeys were chartered in The Log. Our records of the ‘ Old Salts” are far from complete. We could include in this issue only a few of those whose names we have. We lack many addresses. You can, therefore, be of great service to us if you will send us information about yourself or about former schoolmates. Read this Alumni issue of the Pilot: let old memories come back as you glance backward with us. Glance around at the school today, and then glance with us toward the promising future of your Alma Mater and pray that she may really “bless those whom she serves” for many years to come. We need and want your sus tained interest. Visit the campus when you can and let us hear from you. Send us your children.
