Freshmen, you are now starting a completely new phase in your life. We hope you enjoy your stay at Gardner-Webb, and make the most of it while you are here. Here is a little advice that we feel must be given out to you. In the next few days, meet as many of your fellow students as possible. These friendships are ones that will go throughout life with you and especially in the next two years, so make the best of these new friendships. Get to know your teachers. You will find out that no matter what is going on around Gard ner-Webb a faculty member will be available for help or advice. Whether it is socially or per taining to school work, get to know your teachers, for they want to help you in any way pos- ^^^^^Another thing you will learn quickly is that there will be times when you will have to sacrifice a little of your social life to a few nights a week of good, hard studying. Accumulate good studymg habits and you will get along fine. We hope these things will be of a little value to you, and from the Pilot stait we say agam, welcome and we hope your stay at Gardner-Webb will be a pleasant one. Anytime we can be of any service to you feel free to call on us. Also, anyone interested in joining the Pilot staff, see us immediately.
