In fact, five If students live Cfiritian lives it will not be in a fund-raising effort but because they believe this way of life is best. Our love of Gardner-Webb grows as we remain here for two years. We want her to succeed and to remain as fine as she is but student dis cipline is in a dire need of review. Old rules, moulded with time, must be revamped to meet a new type student. We do not seek the right to drink or act immorally, only a more sure set of rules which are interpreted in the same way for all students. Lets quit saying “attendance required”, “you must not”, “you must not”, “you must not”, and say a few more “welcome”, “enjoy your self”, “we trust you”, “show us responsibility” statements. B.S.U. Brings Movie To G. W. Campus The B. S. U. will add to campus social life on Sept. 24 as they bring a well known movie attraction to Gardner-Webb. “The Unsinkable IVIolly Brown,” a delightful movie starring Debbie Reynolds and Harve Presnell, will be presented in the E. B. Hamrick Auditorium at 8:00 p.m. Admission price will be 25(Z. Written by Meredith Wilson and Richard Morris, this is a big, loud, funny musical about a miners daughter who becomes a legend in her lifetime with her husband’s millions. Molly, who is patterned after a real life character, is a bold and brashy tomboy who marries a poor man for love and is happy. When the couple becomes ex tremely wealthy, Molly grabs for a place in society and is cruelly snubbed by the elite. Trips to Europe, elegant new clothes tone Molly down a By Judy Hardin Campus life is booming! It may be with the sound of fire crackers and Roman Candles, but alas it is booming. Stroup Dorm has become a dining area for some of its’ week end inhabitants. Under the supervision of Edy Wallace many Saturday night dinner parties have been planned. On September 10, Miss Wallace entertained 17 at a spaghetti dinner. “Go Bulldogs Go” is the cry of the new cheerleaders as the Bulldogs start their 1966-67 season. Returning sophomores Pat Hall, Janice Griffin, Sandy Lucas, Amy Bouchard, and Mary Vaughn are joined by five newly elected cheerleaders and alter nate. The newly elected are: Sandra Howell, Jolette Gobble, Betty Foster, Sue Turnmyre, and Mickey Holden. Not griping you understand, but where can we mail letters? We have such a fine Post Office box system in the Student Center that we surely need a place for out going mail on campus.
