PORK AND PIGSKIN “79”
The Alumni Association of Gardner-Webb plans to celebrate “Homecoming
’79” in fine fashion, and we hope that you will be able to join us for this festive
occasion. The PORK portion of the day’s activities will begin at 12:00 p.m. at
the Gardner-Webb football stadium and will last until 1:45 p.m. Price of this
meal will be $2.50 per person. (Children under 5 free) The PIGSKIN half will
begin at 2:00 p.m. in Spangler ,§tadium as the Running Bulldogs of Gardner-
Webb College face the EAGLES of Carson-Newman College. If you are able
to join us for this special day, we certainly hope you will do so. No reservations
are necessary for this event, just enthusiasm. We look forward to seeing you on
October 20th to help celebrate HOMECOMING 1979.
