The Pilot, page 6 Lighter In every issue of The Pilot, a section called The Lighter Side will appear. The section is designed to be satirical. There fore, NONE OF THE STORIES ARE TRUE!! With this in mind, enjoy The Lighter Side of Gardner- Webb,.. Noel T. Manning, II was accidently mistaken for Wierd A1 Yankovic at a recent Club GWC dance-a-thon. "Wow, what an honor..." Manning was quoted as saying. Randy Kilby recently turned down a reported $1.1 million to play the Riddler in "Batman II: The Sequel". He was quoted as say ing, "I'm waiting to play the Rooster." More news on Kilby... A source from the Webb Building has uncovered a skeleton in the Associate Dean of Admissions' closet. Yes, that is Mr. Kilby (see picture). However, the lady pictured with him is not his then-girlfriend-now-wife, Dana. Notice how tenderly he has his hand around the woman, gently pressing on her arm as that smirky grin dashes across his face (the cat that ate the canary). Is it possible that they were trying to make a fashion statement or were they just caught "innocently" in each other's company? [Editor's note: Thanks, David R.] An Update on the hostile WGWG takeover... M. Allen Setzer has given in to the more beautiful music demands of Robert Harrelson, Joe Alverson, and the Fishman. Said Setzer, "I wanted to rock, but they wouldn't let me. I had no choice but to give in. I'm not through fighting yet, though.. . " Resident Life Director Amber Culver recently won first prize and $11, 569.93 in the 3rd Annual Annie Look-Alike Contest in Shelby.
