SGA - You*re not the FBI! In a recent conversation with Dean Scott, Associate Vice-President and Dean of Student Development, I learned of the SG A's investigation of his judicial procedures. And just last week, I discovered that certain SGA Senators are trying to impeach SGA President John Miller. Is this what Student Government is all about? To me, the Student Government Asso ciation is to represent the student body of Gardner-Webb University. It seems lately that those in authoritative positions of SGA ztre representing no one but themselves and are trying to accomplish what they want This is truly preposterous. Does SGA have nothing better to do than stir up contro versy? What's sad is that those trying to impeach Miller are led by one who lost the election last year. If the student body felt that their President-Elect could not do the job, then don’t yc u think they would speak out? If the evidence against Miller is true, then allow the students to get involved. Don’t try to work under the table. Keep the student’s informed of what your intentions are. As for the allegations against Scott, I only have one comment about that. Dean Scott cares more about his students than any other person that I know of. I ask one simple question: What do you wish to accomplish? Jason Farr Editor Forum Investigation of Dean Scott is waste of time I recently learned of the Student Government Association's desire to replace Dean Scott as their advisor. What is going on? Do they not realize that they are nothing but a glorified club. Dean Scott did not purposely ask to be the advisor for the Student Government. It is in his job description as Dean of Student De velopment. I also learned that there are allegations made by the Senate that Dean Scott shows prejudice when punishing athletes as to other students. Shouldn't he be? I am an athlete and I am constantly reminded by my coach that athletes represent Gardner-Webb University. Dean Scott feels that athletes. Resident Assistant's, Student Government officers and clubs and organizations represent the campus and these people should be held accountable on a higher level. If someone in any one of these positions can't handle that; then they should quit. And as far as the SGA is concerned, what ever hap pened to the good ole days when SGA stood for Student Government Association? Today, it seems to mean Student Gone AWOL. Garrick Scott DID YOU KNOW... Did You Know that a single cow pro duces an estimated amount of 50 lbs. of dung per day. At this rate, it is estimated that cows produce nearly 186,000 lbs. per second. That factors out to approximately 11,160 lbs per minute; 669,600 lbs, per hour; and 16, 070,400 lbs, per day. Do you have an interesting fact you would like to share?
