Sport's news and opinionated views...
by James R. Sexton
sport's editor
James: Well it’s time for the semester to
end. So I guess I’ll take some callers and see
their comments or questions about how this
semester went. Dave, from Baltimore, MD.,
You're on the air.
Dave: The football lost some games they
should have won. The Wofford game at the
beginning of the season sticks out in my mind.
They also played well enough to win against
University of Tennessee Chattanooga and
Carson-Newman. The season, while not a di
saster, was a couple of plays from being to
tally different. Are there gonna be any major
changes for next year?
James: Well, for starters, there is gonna
be a new quarterback on the team and a lot of
freshmen are expected to come in and provide
key roles for the team. Louis from Anchor
age, Alaska, you're next
Louis: How is the men's basketball team
expected to do this year?
James: They have some great players and
the juco-transfers are providing some added
punches to our offense.
Jack from Greenville, SC., you're on the
air.
Jack: Who are the most exciting players
on the men's and women's basketball team this
year?
James: IDonzraina Finney has a nice game
and can shoot jumpers like crazy. Lance Bain
will be playing professionally this time next
year. Also, for ttie ladies, Delaina Adams is
all that and Tayuanee Dewberry is a great
player as well..
Well that's all my time! Merry Christ
mas! See ya i^xt month.
