Love, Your "Buddy" To: JoAn I never met someone quite like you, who with a smile can turn my dark sky blue. I don't think I can make it without you near. Love, Jena To Grrrretchen, You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. You are wonderful! I love you lots and lots and lots! Mucho! Mucho! Mas! Love, Brandon SEA chair resigns "You have one group who wants nothing to do with Christianity or Christian values --and that's fine- -they don't have to. Then, you have one group who wants only Christian events. Then there's still the other group who's not satisfied with anything... no matter what you offer, they won't be happy, and they won't participate," said Elliott. Elliott claimed that a number of students are uninformed on reasons for SEA program choices. He said that students complained about not having some popular "mainstream" bands come to campus. Elliott said the reason SEA has not done this is the budget. "The Geoff Moore concert cost $5,000-that's for everything-the opening act, set-up, everything. We checked on getting Hootie and the Blowflsh to come to campus. They run in the price range of $75,000 - $80,000 per concert and we don't have that much in our entire budget for a year of programming." Elliot was SEA chair for more than a year and To: Corey West, I just wanted you to know that I love you more today that yesterday, and I'll love you more tomorrow than today. Love, Tracy To: Penny, You will never know how much you mean to us. You are a blessing from God! We love you, and Brandon too! Love, Second floor, Nanny To: Julie: You are the most p)erfect thing for me, I could never ask for anything more. I love you with all my heart! Love, Nick To: My Nanney Ladies Being a friend comes naturally. It is taking a moment out of your life to give of yourself by bringing comfort, encouragement, and peace. You all do it graciously, and I thank you!!! Happy Valentine's Day - You're the greatest!!! Love, Penny ****The winner of the dinner is Dave and B.J. (come by Craig 202A to receive the certificate)*** (continued from page 1) a half. "It was difficult to resign," he stated. "I enjoyed doing my job. Getting re-elected was great. Having students re-elect me by an overwhelming number of votes showed their confidence in me and I greatly appreciated it." Elliott gave several other reasons for his resignation. "I was sick of being walked on. By that I mean many students thought because of who I was they could get what they wanted. A lot of Christian students assumed that because I was a Christian also that every suggestion made to me about a Christian activity would automatically be accepted. But they don't realize that the entire student body must be entertained. That's a hard job," said Elliot. A special election wil 1 be held this semester to elect a new SEA chair. Until that time, Jennifer Kennedy is serving as acting-chair. Paris, Plays, and Publicity by Julie Gibson staff writer Have you ever wanted to go to Paris?
