New Hanover County prepares for Election Day set for Oct 8

New Hanover County will hold elections
Oct. 9. Registration ended Sept. 14 because
North Carolina law requires all voters to
register 25 days before the elections.
To register for next year’s elections, go
to the Board of Elections office or one of
the following locations: New Hanover
County Public Libraries, the YMCA, the
YWCA, the DMV, North Carolina license
plate agencies in New Hanover County, the
senior citizens center and Solomon Towers.
