CLASSES RESPONSIBLE
FOR SPRING FLING
It has been decided that for
the Spring Fling that each class
will be responsible for one of
the events of the weekend. This
is to bring about more student
participation in the planning and
carrying out of the functions.
This v.'ill also prevent having
only one or two persons do all
the work.

Language Sectisn
By Dr. Jose M. Bohigas
I believe St. Andrews students
should correspond with students
in other countries. We have many
students who enjoy the foreign
language which they study. For
these students it would be en
tertaining to write and receive
letters in another language.
We. promise to start immediate
ly trying to obtain names, ad
dresses, etc., of students in other
countries. We are going to pub
lish in this section such
names and addresses and we
hope our students take advantage
of this OH>ortunity of practicing
more, of increasing knowledge
of a language more, through this
friendly and interesting means.
Approximately 250 students will
participate in Michigan State Uni
versity’s AMLEC program the
summer of 1964.
AMLEC, the American Lan
guage and Education Center, co
operates with a non-profit Swiss
foundation to offer college stu
dents. an inexpensive opportunity
to study Spanish, German,
French, and Italian in Europe.
Further information regarding
the MSU summer langauge pro
gram can be obtained by writ
ing AMLEC, Michigan State Uni
versity, East Lansing, Michigan.
