The robust exhibition was Durchill’s first competition 000 series in his three \ears for St. Andrews. In ’60 he fired a 030 set in DIAC tournament competition. The record setting season’s climax held another first for St. Andrews’ lanenien. Coach Dave McLean worked all nine members of his squad into ac tive competition, a feat not us ually accomplished during the entire regular season. With his 008 performance, Burchill’s average ascended to 179.23, third in the DIAC, bet tered only by Charleston’s Bob Wittchen (185), and St. Andrews’ Ed But ter worth 179.45. The Knight’s Kodney Ferguson, who transferred at the semester, finished with a 179.83, l)Ut is ineligible for top rank in the season’s statistics. The locale of the DIAC tour nament on March 1 and 2 has been switched from Rocky Mount, North Carolina to Lau- rinburg, home of St. Andre\\s keglers. Tentatively the team event will take place Friday March I at 3:30, followed on Saturday by the doubles and singles events.
