Among new courses to be offered is a one semester elective for freshmen intitled “Man in Mo dern Society"’, a two semester core math course recommended for Social Science and Hu manities majors, an expanded two year version of “The His tory of Religions”, “UrbanPo litics’, “Marxian Political Analysis”, a Joint Language and Literature/Religion and Philosophy course entitled “Li terary Interpretation”, “Afro- American Literature”, “Intro duction to the Theatre ’, “Afri can Political Processes’', and many new courses in the areas of Business Administration, Economics and History. As well, a proposed major in American Studies is being studied by the committee.
