She has held membership in the Southeast Regional Ex ecutive Committee jof AFSC for two years, and is clerk of the St. Petersburg Religious Society of Friends. Also, she is founder and organizer of “Circus McGirkus,” a “peo ple’s fair” held in St. Petersburg since 1972. On Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. in Belk Main Lounge, she will address the topic-“U.S.-U.S.S.R.: Where We are and Where We’re Headed.” A slide show and discussion will highlight the speece. Mr. William Reynolds will accompany Ms. McCloskey on the St. Andrews visit. Mc Closkey explains: He’s more fact oriented and I’m more people oriented.” Reynolds’ credentials are impressive. His work is based with AFSC in Atlanta, Georgia. While director of the national AFSC Disarma ment program, he served as a delegate and member of the U.S. Steering Committee at the World Forum on Disar mament, Peace, and Detente at Helsinki, Finland in 1981. He has developed and taught adult educational courses on U.s.-Soviet Rela tions and the Strategic Arms Race. Under President Carter, Reynolds was consul tant to the Presdential Ad visory Group on Radioactive Waste Management. He will speak on Monday night, March 1 at7:30p.m' on “Sanity and Superpowers-Another 1 of the Nuclear Arms » and the Soviet Threat, speech will be held in Main Lounge.
