The Lance September 28,1984 11 Attention Seniors On Monday, October 1, at 6:00 p.m. in the Belk Main Lounge there will be a senior class meeting. All persons who plan to graduate this academic year should attend. The purpose of this meeting will be to form a Graduation Committee whose job will be to select, through nominations, a list of people to speak at the Honors Day, Bac calaureate, and Graduation ceremonies. Bob Martin will lead the selection process and engage the class in developing a new criterion on who should be invited to Honors Day. This day would be for seniors, faculty, and other students to engage in and have dialogue with a qualified person. The commence ment address shall be given by a distinguished faculty member of St. Andrews. This committee shall choose this speaker and the bac calaureate speaker, who shall be selected by the criterion developed by the senior class. Among other topics to be discussed at the meeting is the question of whether to begin or maintain traditional symbols, such as, should there be an official class ring for all graduates.
