The Lance, there ap
peared a small comic
labled "T.V. Evan
gelist's Cros^'with a
cross shaped doller
sign. This comic was
signed with my name.
I would like to have
it known that although
I was the original i
author of this v/ork, I
was not the one to do
iether the drawing or
submission of this
particular piece of
work. As a member of
the Editorial staff of
J;his paper, I was sur-
'prized to find its
submission in the last
edition of the paper.
I brought this point
up before the paper in
our last meeting of
Editors and other
interested persons. I
was assured that such
a mistake would not
happen again, and I
would like to assure
the campus that the
comic was not submit-^
ted with iether my
consent or knowledge.
Also to assure the
students that the
paper does indeed
take its responsibil
ities seriously and
tries to acknoweldge
when it has made a
mistake.

But love is what we make it, I guess we made it mean.
I love you and I need you, plus I want you everyday
Those words have a lot of meaning and^ mean it when I say.
If only you hadn’t kissed me and hel3 me in your arms
And showed me all your power and your tenderness and charm.
If only you could love me and read between the lines
Maybe, just maybe, you can cure this heart of mine.
But since my eyes are open and the pain is gone away
Maybe, just maybe, we could be friends again someday.
