At St. Andrews there are many

program. For horse lovers who want
to become involved there is the op
tion of taking riding for P.E. credit at
the beginners level, joining the riding
club, or becoming a member of the
IHSA riding team. Intermediate and
advanced riders can also participate
in the IHSA program at their levels.
For experienced riders, becoming a
member of the ANRC team or a
member of the judging team are ad
ditional options. The riding council is
also included in the program;
however, members are nominated
by coaches Shelby French and Jon
Conyers and must show extensive in
terest and dedication. Presently, the
members of the riding council are
Margaret Fuller, Lisa Wagner, Katie
Martin, Danny Robinson, Kathy Rice,
Leah Cook, Colleen Kelly, and Donna
Byrd, who is also the team captain.
