http://198.85.144.8/clubs/lance/editorials/lit Fill in the Angst 2:3 EXCISION When he distributed his literature at Crossroads that even.ng, people clapped (Heyl I madeh of TUMORS before it made itself an enemy of independent student acUv.ties. No one claps for me) As il turns out, many people had no idea what EXCISION was about, TUMORS, rt appeared, wai not required campus reading. Later another group of students who couldn't write to save their lives put out an issue of TUMORS. I don’t know if anyone saw this one, either; I only saw a copy because one of my petty friends was behind it. Someone must have seen it, though, because the original TUMORS staff got a letter about how bad theirne* issue was. This alone makes this entry in the SAPC self-publishing field remarkable, I wonder sometimes what other students on campus care about. I’ve been expecting to see an independent newsletter written by peers I’ve never heard of. They’d bitch and moan about the real issues on campus and tell me that I sucked. They’d tell the authors behind TUMORS that they sucked too, and advise Marion that he should go back to the Pear. Then they’d enlighten us with their opinions, which would represent the whole student body, and everyone would clap for them and write them letters. I was dreading it until now. If that ever happens, I can claim it was my idea. 2 of 2
